How much does an apartment renovation cost in Athens?

It depends on the condition of the property and the scope. As a guide, a full renovation of an average Athens apartment, including electrical and plumbing, bathroom and kitchen, floors and paint, is priced per square metre after a site visit. I prepare a detailed budget before any work starts, so there are no surprises later.

How long does a renovation take?

A complete apartment renovation usually takes six to ten weeks on site, after two to four weeks of design and permits. Smaller interventions, such as a kitchen or bathroom, take two to three weeks. I give you a written schedule and keep to it.

Do you supervise the construction?

Yes. I coordinate the contractors, check the work on site and remain your single point of contact from the first drawing to handover. You do not have to manage tradespeople yourself.

Which areas do you cover?

I am based in Athens and work across Attica, including Kifisia, Glyfada, Kolonaki, Chalandri, Marousi, Voula and the centre. I also take on hotel and holiday home projects across Greece and the islands.

Can you renovate a property for Airbnb or short term rental?

Yes. I design rental apartments and small hotels to photograph well, withstand heavy use and be easy to maintain, and I plan the work so the property is ready for the season.

Do you help with renovation subsidy programmes?

I can advise on what the current Greek programmes, such as Ανακαινίζω and Εξοικονομώ, cover and prepare the technical documents they require. Eligibility depends on your income and the property, so we check it together at the first meeting.
